The company said that 「many parts of the content are inaccurate, and people should not take it as true.」 People described as close to Unitree also told the media that the company’s overall pay is not considered high within the industry. According to the report, Unitree offers better compensation than traditional industrial robotics companies, but still pays less than embodied intelligence startups that emerged after 2023. Some employees said ordinary staff have received salary increases below the broader market level and face heavy workloads.
