Capital continued to move back into U.S. crypto spot ETFs in the latest weekly data. According to SoSoValue, U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded about $987 million in net inflows in the week ended Sept. 4, up from roughly $925 million a week earlier and extending their positive run to three consecutive weeks. Including the prior week’s roughly $1.92 billion, Bitcoin ETFs drew about $3.83 billion over the three-week stretch. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) remained the main driver, taking in around $692 million last week, or about 70% of total weekly Bitcoin ETF inflows. Trading volume for the full spot Bitcoin ETF group came in at about $14.5 billion, down from nearly $19 billion in the previous week. U.S. spot Ether ETFs also logged a third straight week of inflows, bringing in about $218 million last week after roughly $824 million and $697 million in the previous two weeks, for a three-week total of about $1.74 billion. Over the whole month of August, Bitcoin ETFs saw $3.52 billion in net inflows, their best month since September 2025, while Ether ETFs attracted $1.85 billion, their strongest month since August 2025. Solana spot ETFs had earlier posted 11 consecutive trading days of net inflows through Sept. 1, but that streak later broke as flows turned negative on Sept. 2 and again on Sept. 4.

U.S. crypto spot ETFs continued to regain momentum, with both spot Bitcoin and spot Ether funds posting net inflows for a third consecutive week.

Bitcoin spot ETFs added about $987 million in the latest week

According to SoSoValue, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $987 million in net inflows in the week ended Sept. 4. That was higher than the previous week’s roughly $925 million and marked a third straight week of positive flows. Including about $1.92 billion from the week before that, the three-week total reached around $3.83 billion.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) remained the main entry point for capital. The fund alone brought in about $692 million last week, accounting for roughly 70% of all weekly inflows across U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.

Trading activity eased from the previous week. Total turnover for the full spot Bitcoin ETF group was about $14.5 billion last week, compared with nearly $19 billion a week earlier.

Ether spot ETFs also extended their inflow streak

U.S. spot Ether ETFs posted about $218 million in net inflows last week, also their third consecutive week in positive territory. The prior two weeks drew about $824 million and $697 million respectively, bringing the three-week total to about $1.74 billion.

Looking at the whole month of August, Bitcoin ETFs logged $3.52 billion in net inflows, their best monthly showing since September 2025. Ether ETFs recorded $1.85 billion in inflows, their strongest month since August 2025.

Solana spot ETFs had an 11-trading-day inflow streak

The inflow trend also spread to Solana for a time. As of Sept. 1, U.S. spot SOL ETFs had recorded net inflows for 11 consecutive trading days. They added about $10.19 million that day, lifting cumulative historical net inflows to around $1.35 billion, while total ETF assets stood at about $1.39 billion. A Bitwise product was the largest source of those inflows.

That run later came to an end. The market saw net outflows on Sept. 2, briefly returned to inflows on Sept. 3, then posted another net outflow of about $5.208 million on Sept. 4. Of that amount, Bitwise BSOL saw about $2.79 million in outflows and Fidelity FSOL saw about $2.41 million. Total assets in spot SOL ETFs stood at about $1.411 billion as of that date.

Bitcoin returned to around $80,000

As ETF flows strengthened again, Bitcoin also moved back near $80,000 and at one point rose to about $81,700 last week.

The report said market analysis viewed continued ETF net inflows as a sign of increasing spot demand, compared with rebounds driven purely by leverage and derivatives. It added that the next move would still be affected by U.S. inflation data, expectations for Federal Reserve policy, and changes in U.S. Treasury yields.
