Odaily reported that the US Department of Defense released a third batch of files on June 12 described as being related to “aliens, extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena and unidentified flying objects.” The newly disclosed materials include 72 videos, images, audio recordings and written documents that had previously been classified.
Video Shows a Light Source Hovering Above a Pond
One video, filmed in the northeastern United States in 2024, shows a light source hovering above a pond. A witness described the object as resembling a “plasma sphere.” In the footage, the shape and brightness of the light source change intermittently, and at times the main light source appears to split into smaller points of light. The object disappeared after 45 minutes.
Another video filmed in 2025 shows two red points of light. The documents were released by the US Department of Defense, with the report citing Jinshi.
