Chairman French Hill of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee has released the committee's hearing schedule for July 2026. The lineup includes a series of full committee and subcommittee hearings addressing key issues across the financial landscape, from monetary policy and consumer finance to digital assets, financial crime, and housing finance.
According to the published schedule, July 14 will feature a full committee hearing on the “Semiannual Monetary Policy Report to the Congress.” On July 15, another full committee hearing will focus on the “Semiannual Report of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.” On July 17, the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Inclusion will hold a field hearing in New York City titled “How the CLARITY Act Unlocks Innovation.” Later on July 21, two subcommittee hearings are scheduled: the Subcommittee on National Security, Illicit Finance, and International Financial Institutions will examine “FinCEN Oversight,” and the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance will hold a hearing on “Federal Home Loan Bank System Oversight.”
The hearings are expected to provide a critical platform for legislative and regulatory discussions, with particular attention on the CLARITY Act field hearing, which will delve into how the proposed legislation could foster innovation in the digital asset space while addressing regulatory clarity.
