Oil Jumps, Crypto Sells Off
Markets reacted quickly. According to Bitget data, WTI crude gapped up nearly 2% at the start of Monday trading. Brent crude climbed back above $90 a barrel, up 2.3% for the day. Spot gold opened lower.
Crypto fell across the board, per HTX exchange data. Bitcoin dropped to $77,000 and was changing hands at $77,399.02, down 1.7% in the past hour. Ethereum broke below $2,400 to $2,398, down 2.76% in the same period.
