SoSo Value data cited by Odaily shows that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded nearly $86 million in combined net inflows last Friday, equal to about 1,350 BTC. BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for nearly $58 million of that amount, while Standard Chartered’s Geoffrey Kendrick linked recent ETF selling to some holders raising cash for the SpaceX IPO.

Odaily, citing SoSo Value data, reported that U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted combined net inflows of nearly $86 million last Friday. The figure was described as equivalent to about 1,350 Bitcoin. Within that total, BlackRock’s IBIT recorded nearly $58 million in net inflows, making it the largest named contributor in the report for that trading day.

IBIT accounts for most of the reported daily inflow

The data highlights a one-day shift in flows for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF products. The combined net inflow of almost $86 million indicates that, on Friday, the group of funds saw more capital enter than leave. IBIT’s nearly $58 million net inflow represented a major share of the total cited by Odaily. The report did not provide a full breakdown for every other U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF product.

Standard Chartered comments on recent ETF selling

Geoffrey Kendrick, global head of crypto research at Standard Chartered, said recent ETF selling may be related to some holders freeing up cash in order to participate in the SpaceX IPO. His comment connects part of the selling pressure in ETF holdings with cash needs tied to that IPO participation. The report did not name the holders involved, specify the size of those individual sales, or provide additional details on timing.

Despite Friday’s inflow, the longer-period flow data remains negative. According to the same report, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen cumulative net outflows of $7.6 billion since last October. Of that amount, $3 billion in net outflows occurred during the first six months of 2026. This places the nearly $86 million single-day inflow within a broader period that has still been marked by aggregate withdrawals from the category.

The report also noted corporate Bitcoin activity involving Strategy. Strategy was described as the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with more than 800,000 BTC on its balance sheet. Michael Saylor resumed buying Bitcoin in early June, after Strategy had carried out a sale at the end of May. Odaily included these details alongside the ETF flow data, tying together institutional product flows and corporate Bitcoin treasury activity in the same news item.
