On Wednesday, the U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a modest uptick in positive inflows, amassing a total of $113.5 million across a trading volume of $2.31 billion. The group of ten spot bitcoin ETFs, excluding Grayscale’s Bitcoin Trust GBTC, now encompasses 507,472.89 BTC or 2.57% of the total circulating supply of 19.67 million bitcoins.
Inflow Details and Grayscale Impact
Leading the inflow charge was Fidelity’s FBTC, closely trailed by Blackrock’s IBIT. Grayscale’s GBTC experienced a minor outflow, though less pronounced than in recent days. Archived statistics show GBTC held 333,619.19 BTC on April 2, but by April 4 its holdings had been trimmed to 328,012.82 BTC (valued at $21.6 billion), representing a reduction of 5,606.37 BTC. Blackrock's IBIT now custodies 257,319.61 BTC ($16.9 billion), making it the second-largest holder among the ten funds behind GBTC. Meanwhile, FBTC holds 146,016.20 BTC ($9.72 billion).
Complete Holdings of All Spot Bitcoin ETFs
Ark Invest’s ARKB ranks third with 43,338 BTC (~$2.88 billion). Bitwise’s BITB holds 32,105.38 BTC, Vaneck’s HODL controls 8,824.02 BTC, and Valkyrie’s BRRR oversees 7,731.50 BTC. The Invesco Galaxy ETF holds 5,937 BTC, Franklin Templeton’s EZBC carries 4,843 BTC, and Wisdomtree’s BTCW has 1,194.88 BTC. The newly launched Hashdex spot bitcoin ETF, which has just begun accumulating reserves, possesses 163.3 BTC.
Including GBTC, the 11 ETFs combined possess 835,485.71 BTC, making up 4.24% of the total circulating supply of 19.67 million BTC. Despite GBTC’s persistent outflows, the strong absorption by other funds signals growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin as a long-term asset.
