US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted $290.4 million in net outflows on May 15, with all six active funds in the red. Spot Ether ETFs also lost $65.7 million, marking a fifth straight trading day of outflows.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $290.4 million in net outflows on May 15, with all six funds that showed daily activity ending the session in the red. BlackRock's IBIT led the withdrawals at $136.2 million, accounting for 47% of the day's total Bitcoin ETF outflow.

All six active Bitcoin funds posted withdrawals

Behind IBIT, ARK 21Shares' ARKB saw $52.5 million leave the fund, while Grayscale's GBTC posted $43.6 million in outflows and Fidelity's FBTC lost $39.6 million. Bitwise's BITB recorded $11.6 million in net outflows, and Franklin Templeton's EZBC shed $6.9 million. None of the six Bitcoin ETFs with capital movement reported net inflows for the day.

Spot Ether ETFs remain under pressure

On the same day, US spot Ether ETFs posted $65.7 million in net outflows. That marked a fifth consecutive trading day of withdrawals for the category. Combined, spot Bitcoin and spot Ether ETFs saw a total of $356.1 million leave the market in a single session.

The Bitcoin ETF outflow was concentrated in the largest products, with IBIT, ARKB, and GBTC making up most of the daily total. Ether ETFs, meanwhile, continued their losing streak, leaving both major US spot crypto ETF segments in negative territory on May 15.
