Vayana has adopted Chainlink as its exclusive oracle infrastructure to support the issuance, distribution, and settlement of tokenized real-world assets in India. The move was confirmed on May 18, 2026 through the companies’ official X accounts and official websites.
This is a large trade finance platform, not an early-stage pilot. According to the disclosed figures, Vayana has facilitated more than $62 billion in financing, connected over 3,000 supply chains, engaged more than 400,000 MSMEs, covered 1,500 corporates across 600-plus Indian cities, and processed over 11 billion GSP API calls. At that scale, a blockchain integration reads as a core infrastructure choice.
Chainlink tools will sit at the center of compliance and settlement
Vayana is starting with the Chainlink Runtime Environment, or CRE, together with the Automated Compliance Engine, known as ACE. The latter is described as a modular on-chain compliance standard designed for tokenized assets moving through regulated financial institutions.
Based on the announcement, the setup is intended to let Vayana issue and distribute compliant tokenized real-world assets to regulated financial institutions in India. It is also meant to enforce KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, and travel-rule requirements directly on-chain in real time. In trade receivables and supply chain finance, the companies say this can support real-time collateral mobility and better liquidity handling.
The infrastructure is also expected to support settlement of tokenized assets across both public and private blockchains, with institutional-grade security highlighted in the announcement. The basic model is straightforward: compliance travels with the asset itself instead of being rebuilt through manual checks and separate controls for each blockchain or counterparty.
Executives framed the deal around compliant scale
Ram Iyer, Founder and CEO of Vayana, said the partnership brings the security and reliability levels required for the project while adding the compliance capabilities needed to distribute compliant tokenized assets in India at scale.
Johann Eid, Chief Business Officer at Chainlink Labs, said Vayana’s reach across India’s financial ecosystem puts it in a position to bring compliant, institutional-grade tokenized assets to market at scale using Chainlink.
The announcement points beyond a single integration
The source material says India is developing regulated digital infrastructure for tokenized assets, and that this partnership places both companies near the center of that effort. For Chainlink, the deal extends its compliance stack into one of India’s larger trade finance networks. For the wider market, it shows that institutional adoption of oracle systems and on-chain compliance infrastructure is moving outside DeFi and into traditional finance workflows.
