Verasity has announced that its VRA token is now available in the Bitcoin.com wallet ecosystem and on the newly launched Verse DEX. According to the company’s press release, users can already store, send, and swap VRA in the Bitcoin.com app, while also trading the token on Verse DEX in a peer-to-peer environment.
Bitcoin.com said it has created around 43 million wallets worldwide since launching in 2015, making it one of the more established brands in the crypto wallet market. Its product suite includes self-custody tools, fiat onramps, asset swaps, and peer-to-peer transaction access. With this integration, VRA has been added to the range of digital assets supported across that ecosystem.
Broader distribution for VRA
In the announcement, Verasity CMO Elliot Hill said Bitcoin.com is a highly recognizable name in crypto retail and highlighted its self-custody infrastructure and fiat access tools. Verasity framed the listing on both the Bitcoin.com wallet and Verse DEX as a way to significantly expand the token’s reach to new users and ecosystem participants.
Beyond wallet and DEX support, Verasity said it would also be featured on Bitcoin.com News, which the release described as attracting more than 22 million monthly unique visitors. The listing follows Verasity’s earlier move to burn 10 billion VRA, a supply reduction the company said came after more than two months of community consultation.
What Verasity says its ecosystem does
Verasity describes itself as an open-ledger ecosystem focused on fighting advertising fraud, supporting infrastructure access for publishers and advertisers, and rewarding users for watching video content. At the center of that model is its patented blockchain-based Proof of View technology. The VRA token is used for funding advertising campaigns, staking through VeraWallet, and distributing Watch & Earn rewards. The release also noted that Verasity’s 2023 roadmap included the planned launch of VeraCard to expand VRA utility.
