Virtuals Protocol said it has launched a web-based version of the Virtuals App and opened it in an invite-only closed beta. The app includes Butler, an AI trading assistant designed to monitor information across chains and asset classes. According to the team, Butler tracks macro data, security incidents, social media activity and on-chain data, then handles research and risk assessment before preparing trades for users to approve with one click. Virtuals said the assistant can analyze how events such as security issues affecting held assets or the release of U.S. nonfarm payrolls and CPI data may affect a user’s portfolio and then suggest trading plans. Users can also send quantitative strategy posts from X to Butler, which will study the strategy, assess the risks and set up trades pending user approval. The team said testing will be expanded gradually.

Virtuals Protocol said it has launched a web-based Virtuals App, which is currently available through an invite-only closed beta. The product comes with an AI trading assistant called Butler built into the app.

According to Virtuals, Butler can monitor information across chains and asset classes, including macro data, security incidents, social media activity and on-chain data. It is designed to carry out research and risk assessment for users, then prepare trades in advance for one-click confirmation.

Butler reacts to portfolio-related events

Virtuals said Butler can analyze how new developments may affect a user’s portfolio when a held asset is hit by a security incident or when U.S. data such as nonfarm payrolls and CPI are released. It then provides a trading plan based on that assessment.

Users can send strategy posts from X

The team also said users can forward quantitative strategy posts from X to Butler. The assistant will study the strategy, evaluate the risks and set up trades for user approval.

Virtuals said it plans to gradually expand the scope of the test.
