F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun said he has blocked a large number of X accounts that support BIP-110, posting a screenshot and writing that his timeline now has "no garbage information." The post adds to a widening public split over the proposal among well-known Bitcoin figures. Earlier, Foresight News reported that Blockstream CEO Adam Back and Strategy founder Michael Saylor had both spoken out against BIP 110. Back argued in a longer post that the proposal, at its core, tries to use the consensus layer to constrain the behavior of others, which he said runs against Bitcoin’s decentralized and permissionless nature. Wang has also repeatedly said that F2Pool will not support BIP-110. The latest exchange shows that opposition to the proposal is not limited to formal statements on its technical merits, but is also spilling over into public discussion on social media.

F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun posted a screenshot showing that he had blocked a large number of X accounts supporting BIP-110.

"My timeline now has no garbage information," Wang wrote.

Foresight News had earlier reported that Blockstream CEO Adam Back and Strategy founder Michael Saylor had both posted statements opposing the BIP 110 proposal.

In a longer post, Back said the essence of BIP 110 is an attempt to use the consensus layer to constrain the behavior of others, a move he said conflicts with Bitcoin’s core decentralized and permissionless properties.

Wang has also said multiple times that F2Pool will not support BIP-110.
