According to TechFlow, WEEX announced on June 18 that WEEX Token (WXT) has completed its burn plan for the first quarter of 2026. The exchange said the action was carried out in accordance with the “WXT Burn Model.”
The latest burn involved 62,998,141 WXT. Based on the market price on the date of the burn, WEEX calculated the value of the destroyed tokens at $1,004,127.
The on-chain record disclosed with the announcement can be checked on Etherscan. The corresponding transaction hash is 0xacbedb41f1aaf2277ae33ee00a6bf04480142228a39bc164e910e36853d1fbbc.
A token burn generally refers to removing a specified amount of tokens from circulation or total supply through an on-chain operation. In this case, WEEX described the transaction as part of its WXT burn plan for the first quarter of 2026.
