Over the past two days, a whale wallet beginning with 0xebe1 kept adding short exposure in both SK Hynix and Samsung (SMSN). In total, the trader increased net short positions by 6,118.2 SKHX and 12,997.4 SMSN, adding roughly $10.1143 million in new notional shorts as of 9 a.m. on the day.
At the time of publication, the trader was holding a 10x leveraged SKHX short with an average entry price of $1,320.9, position value of about $42.778 million, liquidation price near $2,005.1, floating profit of about $1.834 million, and a return rate of roughly 41%. Hyperinsight said this had made the account the largest SKHX short on Hyperliquid. The same trader also held a 10x leveraged SMSN short with an average entry of $177.9 and position value of about $3.271 million, showing an unrealized loss of roughly $55,000. The two short positions were worth about $46.05 million combined, with total floating profit near $1.779 million. Open orders show room for further short additions, along with smaller buy orders to cover part of the positions.

It was showing a floating profit of about $1.834 million and a return of roughly 41%. Hyperinsight said the position had become the largest SKHX short on Hyperliquid.
The trader also held a 10x leveraged short in Samsung, with an average entry price of $177.9 and a position value of about $3.271 million. That leg was showing a floating loss of about $55,000.
Together, the two short positions were worth about $46.05 million, with combined floating profit of about $1.779 million.
In open orders, the trader had placed one sell order for 500 SKHX at $1,272.5, worth about $636,300, and one sell order for 1,000 SMSN at $181.61, worth about $181,600, leaving room to continue adding to the shorts.
The account also had one buy order each to cover part of the positions: 200 SKHX and 300 SMSN. Those buy orders totaled about $306,200, only a small fraction of the overall short exposure.
