A whale tracked by on-chain analyst Ember has expanded a Bitcoin short after building a sizable unrealized gain on an Ether long. According to the monitoring data, the trader opened a long position in 20,000 ETH at $1,936 when the current market move began. That position is now showing an unrealized profit of $14.06 million.
Earlier today, the same whale increased a BTC short position, opening a short on 650 BTC at $84,057. The position was valued at $53.68 million at entry and is currently sitting on an unrealized profit of $950,000. The update points to a trader holding profitable exposure on both sides of the market through separate ETH and BTC directional bets.
