A crypto whale has moved 1.893 million HYPE, worth about $106 million, to the HyperEVM chain after redeeming the tokens earlier the same day, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin cited by Odaily. The analyst said the address involved has not sent the tokens to an exchange, unlike another address previously observed.
Yu Jin also said the whale’s actual HYPE holdings amount to 2.886 million tokens. Those tokens were accumulated in early last year at around $19.79, based on the figures provided in the report. At current levels referenced in the update, the position is sitting on more than $104 million in profit.
The transfer adds to recent tracking of large HYPE movements, with the latest update focused on the destination of funds and the whale’s unrealized gain rather than any confirmed exchange deposit from the address.
