According to on-chain data monitored by crypto analyst Ai Yi, a whale address that had borrowed to go long on ETH faced another liquidation early this morning when ETH slipped to $1,540. The liquidation swept away 6,667.13 ETH from the position, while also repaying 9.878 million USDT in borrowed funds. This brings the whale's overnight total liquidation to 21,798.13 ETH across multiple triggers.
The whale still holds 82,871.28 ETH in collateral across two addresses, but the debt remains substantial. Chain data shows that the address starting with 0xc3f still has a 51,333.58 ETH borrowing position, with a liquidation price of $1,526.91; the 0x34d address holds 31,537.7 ETH in borrowed funds, facing liquidation at $1,458.78. Should ETH continue to weaken, these remaining positions remain vulnerable to further forced closures.
