Solana meme coin WhiteWhale (WHITEWHALE) surged after its Bybit spot debut, sending its market capitalization above $95 million and close to the $100 million mark. Data shared by on-chain tracking platform Lookonchain shows an early trader who entered with just $343 has reached roughly $773,000 in combined profit, a return of about 2,253x.

Early wallet locked in gains while keeping a large position

According to Lookonchain, WHITEWHALE was listed on Bybit spot on January 6, 2026, with the WHITEWHALE/USDT trading pair. A wallet labeled BCrTEX bought 14.9 million WhiteWhale tokens in the early stage using only $343. The trader later sold 7.5 million tokens and realized about $86,000 in profit.

The wallet still held 7.4 million WHITEWHALE at the time of the post, with that remaining position valued at around $687,500. Adding the realized profit to the market value of the unsold holdings brings the total unrealized and realized gain to nearly $773,000. That trade quickly became one of the most talked-about examples tied to the token’s listing rally.

Token launched on pump.fun with a community-first meme narrative

The source material describes WhiteWhale as a meme coin that launched fairly on Solana-based pump.fun in December 2025. Total supply is about 1 billion tokens. The project was originally created by community supporters and drew inspiration from the “White Whale” persona associated with Crypto Twitter trader @TheWhiteWhaleV2, who later took over the project.

Its core narrative is “A Whale for the People”, with messaging centered on community direction, transparency, and long-term holding. In the project’s framing, the white whale image is meant to stand against market manipulation and rug pulls while leaning on grassroots support and patience from holders.

Price action is tied to meme momentum rather than utility

WhiteWhale does not have DeFi utility or a stated practical use case in the source material. Its momentum is driven by meme culture, viral circulation, and community attention, similar to other active Solana meme coin trades. The token is available on Raydium and Jupiter on the DEX side, as well as centralized venues such as Bybit.

The same source also notes that a major exchange listing can trigger a sharp short-term move, but it does not remove the speculative nature of meme coins. Prices can shift quickly when sentiment changes or when holders begin selling into strength.
