Several crypto initiatives previously announced by World Liberty Financial, the Trump family-backed project, have yet to materialize, according to a report cited by Odaily from Bloomberg. The unfinished plans include a lending market supported by Aave, the use of an Ethena stablecoin as collateral, and the introduction of tokenized U.S. Treasuries and stocks to the World Liberty platform through Ondo. Data from Nansen and Arkham also show notable changes in the project’s previously disclosed “strategic token reserve.” Most of its holdings in LINK, AAVE, ENA, and MOVE were later transferred or disposed of, with part of the assets sent to centralized exchange accounts. Nansen said tokens bought by World Liberty often rose 10% to 26% within a day after the purchases were spotted on-chain, though those gains usually did not last. World Liberty said it adjusts strategy based on market conditions and business priorities, and added that its decisions are not tied to those of the Trump administration.

Several crypto partnership plans previously announced by World Liberty Financial, the Trump family-backed project, have yet to be implemented, according to Bloomberg as cited by Odaily.

The pending items include a lending market supported by Aave, the use of an Ethena stablecoin as collateral, and a plan to bring tokenized U.S. Treasuries and stocks onto the World Liberty platform through Ondo.

Strategic token reserve has changed significantly

Data from Nansen and Arkham show that World Liberty’s previously established “strategic token reserve” has shifted materially. Most of its LINK, AAVE, ENA, and MOVE holdings were later transferred or disposed of, and some of the assets were moved to accounts at centralized exchanges.

On-chain buying was followed by short-term token gains

Nansen’s analysis found that after World Liberty’s token purchases were detected on-chain, the related tokens typically rose 10% to 26% within one day. In most cases, however, those gains did not hold.

Company response

World Liberty said it will continue adjusting its strategy in line with market changes and business priorities. The company also said its decisions are not connected to those of the Trump administration.
