Xie Jiayin said in a post on X that the Bitget security incident involved multiple non-EVM chains and 10 tokens, and that the exchange handled processing and withdrawal restoration differently from last year’s Bybit security incident because the theft methods were not the same. He also said he will appear with Bitget CEO Gracy Chen in a community livestream on Monday, scheduled 30 minutes before withdrawals resume, to discuss the incident and answer questions from the community.

Withdrawals for other tokens, fiat, and P2P are planned for 8:00 UTC on Oct. 2. The exchange said trading and deposit services remain available and users do not need to take action in advance.
