Singapore-based XinFin has announced the launch of its XDC hybrid blockchain protocol alongside the public sale of its ERC20 utility token, XDCE. According to the company’s release, the protocol is designed for enterprise adoption in global trade and finance, with an architecture intended to combine elements of public blockchains and private networks.
The company said the XDC protocol is built to help real-world businesses interact with blockchain infrastructure and digital assets while remaining compatible with local regulatory requirements. In XinFin’s description, the network can function either as a messaging and confirmation layer on top of existing approved payment systems, or as a settlement layer through regulated and authorized institutions.
