XRP rose to $1.42 after a 4.29% daily gain, supported by $2.52 million in net inflows on February 13. The market is now watching whether it can hold above $1.40 and break through $1.50.

XRP moved up to $1.42 as the broader crypto market recovered, putting the token back near an important resistance zone. Over the last 24 hours, XRP gained 4.29% and traded around $1.41, while the total crypto market increased 3.77% to $2.36 trillion. Concerns tied to a partial U.S. government shutdown remained in focus, yet XRP still managed to post a solid rebound.

Shutdown concerns cloud sentiment, but XRP holds its ground

As of Saturday, the U.S. government entered a partial shutdown after lawmakers failed to pass a budget to fund the Department of Homeland Security. The shutdown began at midnight and raised concerns about disruptions to immigration enforcement, disaster response, and TSA staffing. Airlines and other groups also warned about possible flight delays if staffing shortages hit security operations.

That political uncertainty added pressure to market sentiment. Even so, digital assets did not move uniformly lower, and XRP kept advancing. The recovery stands out because the token had already been under heavy pressure for weeks, making the latest bounce a notable shift in short-term price action.

$2.52 million in net inflows points to renewed interest

Flow data gave traders another signal to watch. On February 13, XRP recorded $2.52 million in net inflows, bringing total inflows to $361.81 million. XRPC, which trades on NASDAQ, also posted an inflow of $449.65K, with its cumulative total reaching $413.05 million.

Those figures suggest investor interest in XRP has strengthened even as macro uncertainty remains unresolved. The token is still down 35% over the past month after an extended consolidation period, while Bitcoin recently moved above $68,000 and Ethereum crossed $2,000. Against that backdrop, XRP appears to be in a catch-up phase rather than leading the market.

$1.40 support and a possible break above $1.50

By February 14, XRP had climbed to $1.42, reinforcing the idea that the recent downside pressure had eased. The next level in focus is $1.50. According to the source material, both RSI and MACD are showing bullish signals, which keeps the near-term outlook constructive if support above $1.40 remains intact.

If XRP clears $1.50, the next upside target mentioned is $1.60. If the price slips below $1.40, it could test lower support near $1.30. Price action over the next few days is likely to determine whether this rebound can extend or returns to consolidation.
