Analyst EGRAG Crypto flags XRP's two-week close as a decisive event, with price trapped between $1.00 support and $1.20-$1.65 resistance. A close above $1.65 could flip bullish, while losing $1.05 risks deeper decline to $0.77.

Crypto analyst EGRAG Crypto has identified the next two-week XRP candle close as a make-or-break event that could determine the token’s next directional move. According to the analyst, XRP remains compressed in a tight range, with buyers defending the $1.00 support zone and sellers holding firm at multiple resistance levels.

Two-Week Compression Nears Breaking Point

EGRAG noted that neither bulls nor bears have seized control on the two-week chart. Recent price action produced long rejection wicks on both sides: a sharp rally was rejected near resistance, leaving an upper wick, while a subsequent sell-off was quickly reversed, leaving a long lower wick. These patterns indicate persistent buying interest near $1.05-$1.00 and sustained selling pressure around $1.20, $1.40, and $1.65.

Price is now moving inside a tightening structure formed by a rising support trendline and a descending resistance line. EGRAG said such compression often precedes a significant breakout or breakdown, making the upcoming candle close critical for traders.

Key Levels to Watch: $1.65 Breakout vs. $1.05 Breakdown

EGRAG laid out the levels traders should monitor. $1.20 is the first hurdle bulls must reclaim to regain upward momentum. A sustained close above $1.40 would show improving strength. The most important level, however, is $1.65 — a confirmed close above it would invalidate much of XRP’s recent bearish structure and bolster the long-term bullish case.

On the downside, EGRAG warned that losing $1.05 increases downside risk. A drop below $0.96 would signal increasing weakness and expose the asset to further selling pressure. The $0.77-$0.78 region, which aligns with the 200-day exponential moving average and long-term horizontal support, represents the strongest historical demand zone on the chart.

Neither Bullish Nor Bearish — Yet

EGRAG emphasized that XRP is currently neither outright bullish nor bearish. Instead, the asset is consolidating as both buyers and sellers defend their positions ahead of the two-week close. The conflict inside the range means the next few days will be decisive. If bulls can push price above $1.20 and hold, momentum could shift. If bears drag it below $1.05, the technical picture darkens quickly. The resolution is imminent.
