Ripple's XRP traded near $1.41 on Thursday after retreating from Wednesday's weekly high around $1.46, as broader crypto weakness pressured major digital assets. Bitcoin pulled back toward $80,000 after briefly touching $82,850, reinforcing cautious sentiment across the market.

ETF Inflows Extend to Third Day

Despite the price decline, institutional and retail investors continued increasing XRP exposure through spot ETFs listed in the United States. Data from SoSoValue showed XRP ETFs attracted $3.87 million on Monday, followed by $11.28 million on Tuesday and another $13.03 million on Wednesday — a three-day cumulative net inflow of approximately $28.18 million. Total inflows now approach $1.32 billion, while assets under management stand near $1.11 billion.

The Crypto Fear and Greed Index edged up to 47 from 46 a day earlier, reflecting stable investor confidence during the latest market correction.

Futures Open Interest Edges Higher

The derivatives market recorded moderate improvement as XRP futures open interest rose to $2.61 billion from $2.59 billion within 24 hours. Still, current participation remains far below the July peak of $10.94 billion, reached when XRP surged to its all-time high near $3.66.

Technical Picture Suggests Balanced Momentum

XRP continued trading above the 50-day exponential moving average near $1.41, providing immediate support after the recent decline. The 100-day and 200-day moving averages at $1.50 and $1.74 limited upside momentum and maintained pressure on the long-term trend.

The Relative Strength Index hovered near 52 on the daily chart, signaling balanced momentum after the pullback. The MACD histogram moved slightly above the zero line, indicating improving buying pressure, though traders still faced resistance at the descending trendline around $1.45.

$1.41 Support Remains Critical

Market participants closely watch the $1.41 support zone as XRP tries to stabilize above short-term technical levels. A daily close below the 50-day moving average could expose the token to deeper losses and weaken the improving momentum. Analysts note XRP continues to move in line with broader crypto trends, with ETF demand and improving derivatives activity helping prevent sharper declines. The token maintained a narrow range while investors monitored Bitcoin and major altcoins through Thursday.
