XRP held above $1.40 on Thursday, rising nearly 5% over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin added more than 7% and moved back above $74,000, giving the broader digital asset market a strong lift and pulling trading sentiment higher across major tokens.

The rebound spread across large-cap altcoins. Ethereum advanced about 7%, while Cardano, Dogecoin, and Solana also posted gains. Total crypto market capitalization increased roughly 4.55% in a single day and approached $2.45 trillion. Market appetite was also helped by improved regulatory signals in the United States and easing geopolitical concerns tied to the United States, Israel, and Iran.

Bitcoin ETF inflows bring back institutional support

Fund flow data added another tailwind. According to SoSoValue, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $225 million in net inflows on March 3. BlackRock’s IBIT led activity with about $322 million entering the fund, making it the largest source of daily inflows among the products tracked.

Flows were less uniform outside Bitcoin. Spot Ethereum ETFs posted a net outflow of $10.75 million over the same period, while XRP-focused exchange-traded funds saw about $7.53 million in daily inflows. The split shows that capital is still selective, though the strength in Bitcoin products helped restore confidence across the market.

XRP remains locked in a $1.40 to $1.50 range

On the four-hour chart, TradingView data showed XRP continuing to trade between $1.40 and $1.50. That consolidation came after a sharp rally in mid-February, when the token briefly pushed toward $1.65. Since then, buyers have continued to defend the lower edge of the range, limiting deeper pullbacks even after several tests of support.

Momentum indicators point to a mildly constructive setup. The relative strength index moved closer to 55, and the MACD histogram turned positive, suggesting short-term momentum has improved. Traders are now watching the upper end of the range. A sustained close above $1.45 could increase focus on another move toward the $1.50 resistance area.

Altcoin activity picks up, but volatility stays in focus

Data from Santiment showed notable single-day gains in Solana, Chainlink, and Pepe as activity returned to the altcoin segment. Earlier caution has not fully disappeared. Market participants are still watching volatility closely, with Bitcoin’s ability to hold its rebound and XRP’s defense of $1.40 likely to remain central in near-term trading.
