XRP is back above $1, and that level has become the center of debate among market analysts. Crypto Patel said the range between $1.00 and $0.60 could offer a favorable long-term accumulation zone after recent weakness. Ali is focused on a narrower level, saying he is closely watching $0.90 as a possible long-term buying opportunity if the token declines again. Their comments came with XRP trading near $1.13 after a rebound from its June low.
$1 Carries a Different Meaning for XRP Holders Now
Patel argued that the market reacts to XRP at $1 very differently than it did years ago. He pointed to 2017, when many holders who bought near $0.003 treated $1 as the ultimate upside target. XRP is now trading around that same headline level again, but sentiment has shifted. Even after the latest weakness, Patel noted that the asset still sits roughly 37,000% above its 2017 low.
From that view, he identified $1.00 to $0.60 as the preferred accumulation band and outlined long-term targets of $5 and $10. Ali took a more specific approach. He said he is monitoring $0.90 closely, with that level standing out as a possible spot for long-term buyers if XRP moves lower.
Recovery From $1.05 Puts Focus Back on Short-Term Structure
The latest one-hour chart showed XRP at about $1.1378 after recovering from a drop toward $1.05 on June 6. Before sellers took control, the token had been trading in the $1.34 to $1.35 area. That swing lower and the following rebound both came with stronger trading activity, with reported volume reaching about 1.56 million XRP.
Momentum readings still lean constructive, though not decisively. The Relative Strength Index came in at 58.76, keeping XRP below overbought territory. MACD remains in buyers’ favor because the MACD line is still above the signal line, yet the histogram has started to shrink. That points to slower upside momentum rather than a clean acceleration higher.
Resistance Sits at $1.15 and $1.20
On the chart, near-term support is located around $1.12 and $1.05. Immediate resistance stands near $1.15 and $1.20. A move above $1.15 could put the $1.20 to $1.25 area into focus, while a break below $1.12 may leave recent lows exposed again.
That leaves XRP in a tightly defined zone. One analyst sees value across a broader pullback range, while another is waiting for $0.90. For now, the short-term chart is doing most of the talking, with price action clustered just under the first resistance band.
