RippleX engineering lead Ayo Akinyele said commercial projects, including asset management firms, are preparing to use XRP Ledger Batch V1.1. The feature can bundle up to eight transactions into a single operation and uses an all-or-nothing execution model. According to the update, that design can support delivery-versus-payment, or DvP, settlement and also lets exchanges, wallets, and marketplaces combine service fees with customer payments in one flow. Support has now reached 30 of the 35 tracked validator nodes, above the 28 votes required to enter the activation countdown. That countdown began at 14:06:41 UTC on Sept. 15. If support stays at or above 80% throughout the 14-day window, the proposal is expected to activate after the same time on Sept. 29. The earlier Batch V1.0 proposal was withdrawn in February after a critical signature-verification flaw was found. It was never activated and caused no loss of funds. The patched version shipped with xrpld 3.3.0 on Aug. 6.
