XRP is trading near the $1.06 support zone while whale wallets sold over 30 million coins in five days. On-chain activity has increased, but Santiment said part of the address growth may reflect internal wallet transfers rather than fresh demand.

XRP is hovering near $1.06, a price area that has become the market’s main line of focus. Glassnode data shows that more than 830 million XRP previously changed hands around this zone, making it a closely watched support level. If the token stays above it, the case for a short-term bounce improves. If it breaks below, the next support areas are seen at $0.80, $0.62, and $0.51.

Daily chart signals suggest selling pressure may be fading

On the daily timeframe, the Tom DeMark Sequential indicator has printed a “9” candle signal, a reading often associated with exhaustion after a heavy round of selling. Over the last three sessions, XRP has also formed a Morning Star Doji pattern, which technical analysts often read as a sign that downside momentum is weakening and that a local bottom may be taking shape.

If buying volume strengthens, the first upside target is $1.27, followed by the $1.35 area. That said, the rebound case is not standing alone. The chart may be showing stabilization, but sell-side pressure remains active.

Active addresses rise to around 40,000, though demand is harder to confirm

Santiment data shows that activity on the XRP Ledger has accelerated in recent weeks. Daily active addresses climbed from 23,000 to around 40,000, an increase of nearly 50% over a short period. The XRP Ledger is the distributed ledger infrastructure used to record transactions within the Ripple ecosystem, so the move points to heavier network usage.

Santiment also noted that part of the increase may have come from internal transfers between wallets rather than new market demand. That leaves the on-chain rise open to interpretation. Higher activity is visible, but it does not automatically confirm that fresh buyers are driving the move.

Whale selling keeps the short-term outlook under pressure

Set against those constructive signals is continued selling from large holders. According to Santiment, major investors often described as whales sold more than 30 million XRP over the past five days. As long as that distribution continues, any upside attempt may face resistance.

XRP is now sitting at a sensitive point. Technical indicators are hinting at a possible recovery, network usage is rising, yet large holders are still reducing exposure. Whether the token can hold $1.06 remains the clearest near-term level to watch.
