XRP spot ETFs recorded a $7.29 million net outflow on July 8, their largest single-day redemption since March. Data from Coinglass shows the full withdrawal came from the Bitwise XRP ETF, ending a stretch of relatively steady fund activity.
All of the July 8 redemption came from Bitwise
Before the outflow, XRP spot ETFs had posted two straight trading sessions with no net inflows or outflows, pointing to a temporary pause in positioning. Earlier in the month, the products brought in $6.55 million on July 2, after a modest $1.86 million net outflow on July 1. Against that backdrop, the July 8 move stood out as a sharper reversal in daily flows.
Even so, the redemption barely dents Bitwise’s longer-term totals. The fund still holds roughly $494 million in cumulative net inflows, which shows the latest withdrawal represents only a small portion of the capital it has attracted since launch.
Late-June inflows had supported demand
Fund demand was stronger at the end of June. XRP spot ETFs added $15.34 million in net inflows on June 29 and another $15.63 million on June 26. Those sessions extended a period of capital growth across the product category. The July 8 outflow broke that positive run.
Recent trading still suggests XRP spot ETFs have avoided a broad and sustained wave of redemptions. The latest data looks more like a notable daily pullback than a collapse in accumulated demand.
Sector inflows remain near $1.40 billion
The July 8 outflow is also far smaller than the biggest single-day withdrawal seen in 2026. On January 29, XRP spot ETFs posted a $93 million net redemption, the steepest daily outflow since the products launched.
Despite these periodic swings, Coinglass data shows cumulative net inflows across all approved XRP spot ETFs remain close to $1.40 billion. That keeps the broader flow picture positive, even as daily subscriptions and redemptions continue to shift from one session to the next.
