XRP is back near $1.10, the level now defining its short-term direction. After buyers defended the $1.02 to $1.03 support zone in late June, price recovered and pushed into a resistance area that has become the market’s main focus.

Recent price action looks different from earlier recovery attempts seen through June. Previous bounces ran into selling pressure quickly and failed to build follow-through. This time, XRP stabilized around $1.02, then printed a higher low on the four-hour chart, suggesting a shift in short-term behavior. The structure has improved, but a broader reversal has not been confirmed.

$1.10 Remains the Key Technical Barrier

According to commentary shared by That Martini Guy on X, traders are still watching $1.10 closely. The importance of that level comes from its earlier role as support before turning into resistance after the breakdown. That kind of flip is common in classical technical analysis, as traders who bought the former support often look to sell once price returns to the same area.

The current setup becomes more constructive only if XRP can hold above $1.10 rather than briefly trade through it. A rejection at this zone would keep the existing range intact. If price gains sustained acceptance above resistance, part of the prior downtrend structure would be weakened and the case for a larger upside move would strengthen.

Futures Participation Stays Elevated as Spot Market Improves

Derivatives data points to renewed engagement in XRP markets. Open interest across major exchanges remains elevated, a sign that leveraged traders are still active. The report notes that Binance leads XRP futures activity by a wide margin, while LBank and Bitget also post substantial volumes, showing that participation is spread across several venues.

Spot conditions have improved as well. At the time referenced in the report, XRP was trading at $1.10, up 5.50% over the last week and 4.11% in the past 24 hours. Price strength alongside steady derivatives participation gives this recovery more support than some earlier rebounds. Even so, traders remain focused on how XRP behaves at current resistance, because failure there would reinforce the range instead of breaking it.
