On February 4, X announced the results of its long-form writing contest, awarding the $1 million top prize to Beaverd (@beaverd). His winning essay, 'Deloitte: A $74 Billion Cancer Spreading Across America,' garnered 44.71 million views, 29,000 likes, and 7,700 retweets, with Elon Musk replying 'disturbing.'
The next day, on-chain analytics firm Bubblemaps dropped a detailed investigation, alleging Beaverd is actually a serial meme coin dumper.
The 'adolfnigler.sol' Wallet and a Dozen Rug Pulls
Bubblemaps traced Beaverd's public address to multiple wallets deployed on Pump.fun, including one registered under the Solana Name Service as 'adolfnigler.sol' — a clearly racist handle.
Tokens identified include SIAS (hit a $6M market cap then went to zero in minutes, with the official account deleted), somaliscan (dropped 86% from its peak after the contest win), and PISS, 4am, RACISM, ExitStrat, EGG — all eventually went to zero.
Bubblemaps described the playbook: deploy token on Pump.fun → snatch large amounts early with connected wallets → create artificial price spikes → dump at the top → delete community accounts. This cycle repeated over a dozen times, netting over $600,000.
'Cry Me a River' — Zero Remorse
Beaverd didn't deny the wallet connections or the trading activity. Instead, he replied to Bubblemaps' thread with a taunt: 'Cry me a river, this isn't even one of my top five hits.'
The response sparked outrage. Critics questioned how someone running a serial pump-and-dump scheme could win X's official $1M creator award.
Beaverd describes himself on his site and X bio as 'God's most retarded soldier,' and has a history of racist tweets. NBC News reported he once wrote, 'I think America would suit a whiter complexion, send those Somalis back.' X's contest rules explicitly bar 'political or religious statements.'
Thus far, Beaverd's main counterargument is that Bubblemaps' own tokens have been in long-term decline, claiming that is the real 'rug.'
