Yi Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital (formerly LD Capital), posted on X this morning that he is fully positioned for a rebound, predicting Bitcoin could bounce back to $85,000-$90,000. The statement comes after his earlier ETH sell-off drew skepticism.
Holding Full Position, Eyeing $85K-$90K
Yi explained his recent silence was due to work on a new fund and platform. He said after a sharp drop, a strong rebound is likely: "A bounce to $85K or $90K is reasonable." But he added he hasn't called a trend reversal yet and isn't shorting.
Yi had sold his ETH position in February at a loss, which led to criticism when he flipped bullish on BTC now. In a longer post, he shared his decade-long crypto journey marked by repeated setbacks but maintained optimism: "I've failed many times in partnerships, investments, and trading over ten years, but I keep working hard and staying true to myself."
Market Context: BTC at $74,550
Bitcoin has seen significant selling pressure recently, with bulls and bulls diverging on rebound potential. On-chain data shows short-term liquidity stress, though some analysts note oversold conditions. BTC last changed hands at $74,550 at press time.
