YOM did not move ahead with its token generation event on the previously planned March 25, 2026 date. The hold-up is tied to compliance under the EU’s MiCA framework rather than a technical problem. According to the project, the process includes a mandatory 20-business-day regulatory review as well as registration for a Digital Token Identifier (DTI) and Legal Entity Identifier (LEI).
CEO Jorrit Velzeboer said the team could have launched only in a limited form before full clearance, but that route would have blocked European users on day one. YOM chose not to take that path. The company said Europe accounts for about 60% of its community, making unrestricted access a central part of the rollout plan.
Avalanche deployment is live while payout testing continues
The delay does not appear to come from the underlying infrastructure. YOM’s mainnet contract is already deployed on Avalanche C-Chain at 0xb6314518b61b4864162c7aE7fdc36261e0A14C4b, and the Fuji testnet contract is listed as 0x8807cD26dB303e5947d992Cd595955cbaC101e8c. The project said the token has a total supply of 750 million, follows the ERC-20 standard, and uses a UUPS upgradeable structure.
One part is still being tested: the payout function. YOM said that feature remains under testnet validation. The report also said listing and investment proposals with centralized exchanges and institutional partners are being finalized, though no exchange names or partner identities were disclosed.
Next public update expected after review and exchange work
YOM has not published a confirmed replacement date for the TGE. The team said it will announce the timeline only after the MiCA review and exchange integrations are completed. The source article said an update is expected around mid-April 2026, but it did not describe that as a final launch date.
The team’s position was stated plainly: “We do not do half launches, full compliance will provide a fair and global rollout to all.” It also said the community should expect more updates on partnerships, ecosystem activity, airdrop development, and exchange listing progress before the TGE is rescheduled.
Project figures disclosed in the report
The article said YOM is currently priced at $0.10, implying a fully diluted valuation of about $75 million. It also referenced $500K sessions/day tied to the project’s decentralized cloud gaming ecosystem. On market direction, the source pointed to compliance progress and institutional interest, but did not provide fresh trading data beyond those figures.
Community reaction was described as mixed but broadly favorable. The article linked that response to the team’s decision to prioritize full EU compliance over a rushed launch, while attention remains focused on the eventual TGE date and any airdrop-related updates.
