YZi Labs has launched YZi Talent, a dedicated hiring portal that brings together job openings from its portfolio companies across Web3, AI and biotech. The firm announced the move on X on July 25, with an initial batch of four openings from Predict.fun and AgriDynamics Robotics, spanning remote technical roles and a leadership position.
The first listings are clearly aimed at experienced candidates. Predict.fun has posted three full-time remote roles: AI Operator, Principal Backend Engineer and Staff Frontend Engineer. The AI Operator opening calls for experience with LLMs, AI agents and structured output. The backend role centers on Rust, TypeScript and PostgreSQL, while the frontend role requires strong knowledge of React and TypeScript. AgriDynamics Robotics, an agricultural robotics startup in the portfolio, is hiring a Founding Business Lead to lead fundraising and business strategy, with flexible work arrangements and a preference for the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle or Michigan.
A single hiring hub for portfolio companies
The YZi Talent site is framed around the idea of “Portfolio Careers,” positioning the portal as a central place for talent recruitment across YZi Labs-backed companies. According to the announcement, the platform is intended to serve as a single hub for open roles in its portfolio and to attract global candidates interested in joining companies building in future-facing sectors. YZi Labs said more portfolio companies are expected to add openings over time.
That structure matches the firm’s broader investment scope. YZi Labs is no longer focused only on crypto. Its target sectors now include Web3, AI, and biotech/healthcare, and the initial job mix reflects that spread: core AI and engineering roles on one side, robotics and business development on the other.
From Binance Labs to an independent family office platform
YZi Labs was previously known as Binance Labs, the venture capital and incubation arm tied to Binance. According to the source material, Binance Labs was restructured and renamed YZi Labs in January 2025, separating from the Binance brand and operating independently as the investment vehicle backed by Changpeng Zhao and Yi He. The firm is led by Ella Zhang and currently manages more than $10 billion in assets.
Its portfolio now includes more than 300 projects across six continents. Against that backdrop, YZi Talent looks less like a simple recruiting page and more like shared infrastructure for a large investment network. The first wave of listings is small, but the message is clear: YZi Labs is extending its talent pipeline beyond crypto and placing real emphasis on AI and biotech as well.
