Blockchain investigator ZachXBT said a suspected attack may have hit an EU entity on Nov. 1, with multiple centralized exchange accounts reportedly compromised and losses exceeding $106 million. According to the alert, the stolen funds were withdrawn in USDC and USDT. Over the past 24 hours, the attacker has continued swapping USDC into ETH, then routing the assets through instant exchange services including WellWallet and Kyrrex. The funds were also converted through Wagyu into Monero (XMR), while cross-chain bridges were used to move assets across several blockchain networks. ZachXBT also published 11 addresses linked to the case and urged the community to watch the movement of the funds. The alert was cited by Odaily in a newsflash report.
