Arkham said on Sept. 29 that a previously tracked ZEC whale appears to have bought more since the evening of Sept. 28. Addresses linked to the entity received about 8,605 ZEC through three centralized exchanges, with the funds later consolidated in batches. Two withdrawal addresses then sent a combined roughly 4,400 ZEC into the same collection wallet. As of publication, six funding-related addresses tied to the entity were holding a combined 65,158 ZEC, up about 15.2% from the prior level. Based on the quoted market price in the source report, the position was worth about $91.13 million. Using historical inbound prices, the report put the whale’s average transfer-in cost at about $1,509.7 per ZEC. With ZEC last quoted at $1,398.6, the position was showing an unrealized loss of about $7.24 million, or 7.36%.
