Zenchain has released ZTC tokenomics with a fixed 21 billion supply and a 7% airdrop allocation. The roadmap signals and Litepaper v2 have pushed attention toward a possible mainnet launch and TGE in Q1 2026.

Zenchain has released the full ZTC tokenomics, putting fresh focus on the project’s expected mainnet launch, token generation event, and community airdrop timeline. The plan was published on January 6, 2026, while an earlier roadmap teaser posted on December 17, 2025 had already pointed the market toward Q1 2026.

Fixed supply model puts 7% aside for the airdrop

According to the project materials, ZTC will have a hard-capped total supply of 21 billion tokens. The allocation breaks down into 30.50% for validator and rewards reserve, 15.03% for the ecosystem, 15.00% for the team and core contributors, 13.47% for the foundation or treasury, and 7.00% for the Zenchain airdrop tied to early community participation on the test network.

The project also said reward tokens will be distributed on a claim-based basis, with full instructions to be released closer to launch. That detail matters. It suggests distribution will follow a defined claiming process rather than an immediate full release.

Roadmap signals keep Q1 2026 in view

Zenchain published Litepaper v2 on January 5, 2026. Taken together with the roadmap teaser and tokenomics release, the available signals point to a launch window in the first quarter of 2026. The source article said trading could begin between mid-January and late March 2026, though that remains an expectation based on project updates rather than a confirmed exchange schedule.

Zenchain’s pitch is to connect Bitcoin’s security model with Ethereum-style smart contract functionality. The use path outlined by the project is simple: Bridge, Stake, Earn, Build. In practice, that means users can move BTC onto Zenchain and then use it in on-chain products such as NFTs and lending applications.

Testnet activity and exchange ties support listing expectations

The network metrics released with the update are substantial. Zenchain said its test system has processed more than 19 million transactions, supports over 7 million wallets, and has recorded more than $587 million in volume. Those figures give the project a measurable base of activity before mainnet.

Staking data is also drawing attention. Roughly 590 million ZTC is already staked, with a staking ratio near 22% and an average APY of 14.3%. The report added that the current rewards era has only 10 days remaining, making the next set of official claiming and reward rules especially important for participants.

The article listed working relationships with Bybit, KuCoin, Gate.io, HTX, MEXC, CoinDCX, LBank, and Uniswap. At the same time, it did not cite formal announcements confirming ZTC listings on those venues. Binance and several other top exchanges have also not confirmed any listing plan.
