Zhipu has launched a holiday promotion for its GLM Coding Plan, extending the free nighttime access period for GLM-5.3-Flash from the originally scheduled end date of Sept. 20 to Oct. 7. Under the arrangement, users who use Flash in ZCode between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. the next day will not consume quota, while other supported agents will receive double Flash quota during the same window.
The company also said that from Sept. 25 to Oct. 7 it will remove peak-hour pricing, with quota charged at the off-peak rate throughout the day. Under the regular version of Coding Plan, only 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays counts as peak hours, while all other periods consume 50% of the usual points. During the promotion, that lower rate will apply all day.
At the same time, newly launched GLM-5.3-FlashX has begun rolling out trial access to Coding Plan users. Users who submit an application and are approved can try it for two weeks. FlashX has a maximum output speed of 200 tokens per second, though it consumes quota at 2.5 times the rate of standard Flash.
