Zoomex said on March 27, 2026 that it has launched a new user initiative centered on its earning products. The exchange framed the move around a change in trader behavior as inflation stays elevated, interest rates remain high across major economies, and rate expectations become harder to read. In that setup, users are paying closer attention not only to trade execution but also to what happens to capital between positions.
Idle capital becomes a larger issue in a high-rate market
According to Zoomex, volatility still defines crypto markets, but trading activity alone no longer covers the full picture of capital management. The platform pointed to idle capital as the main problem — assets sitting unused when they are not deployed in active positions. Marketing Director Fernando said traders have traditionally focused on market timing, while the more pressing question in a high-interest-rate environment is how inactive capital is treated.
Zoomex said this pattern is becoming easier to see during periods of macro uncertainty, when users try to balance short-term trading opportunities with longer holding periods. That shift, in its view, is raising demand for tools that keep funds productive across different market conditions.
One system for spot, futures, grid tools, and yield products
The exchange described its response as a multi-layer capital deployment framework built inside a single system. Instead of asking users to move assets across separate products or external platforms, Zoomex said it combines three layers: a trading layer for spot and futures activity, a strategy layer that includes tools such as grid trading for ranging or uncertain markets, and an earning layer designed to generate yield on assets that are not being used in trades.
Zoomex presented the structure as a way to support more continuous capital utilization. Funds can move between active trading, systematic strategies, and passive yield generation without leaving the same environment.
New user campaign highlights earning access and mentions 200% APY
The latest initiative is aimed at giving new users a clearer entry point into the platform’s earning features. Zoomex said the campaign is meant to simplify onboarding and help users understand how trading activity can be balanced with capital efficiency. The source material also includes the line “Zoomex March New User Benefits |200% APY”, though it does not provide full product terms, eligibility details, or the duration attached to that figure.
Fernando said users are no longer choosing between trading and earning, but expect both to function in the same environment. Zoomex also argued that platform value is being judged more heavily through capital utilization, access to yield, and strategy flexibility rather than execution alone.
Zoomex Card extends digital asset use beyond the trading interface
Beyond platform-based trading and earning tools, Zoomex said it is introducing the Zoomex Card to connect digital asset holdings with everyday spending. The company said the card allows users to access and spend their assets while keeping them tied to the broader Zoomex ecosystem, extending utility outside trading settings.
In its company profile, Zoomex said it was founded in 2021, serves more than 3 million users across over 35 countries and regions, and offers 700+ trading pairs. On compliance and security, the platform said it holds Canada MSB, U.S. MSB, U.S. NFA, and Australia AUSTRAC licenses, and has passed security audits conducted by blockchain security firm Hacken.
