Notion upgrades AI tools with longer-running Agent tasks and new control features

Notion has rolled out a new set of AI upgrades centered on its Notion Agent product. The company said the agent can now use a dedicated computer and browser, while its context management has also been improved. A new "Review for me" mode adds safety checks and allows tasks to run for as long as 24 hours. Notion also updated its Auto model routing system, saying it balances quality, speed, and cost based on the task. According to the company, the system delivered results close to Opus 5.5 and Astra across more than 20 common tasks, while cutting average cost by about 90%. The update also lets personal agents connect to an existing ChatGPT subscription. For enterprise users, a bring-your-own API key feature has entered private alpha testing. In addition, Notion MCP memory sync is now live, MCP-based skills support is coming, AI usage will move into a new unified credit system, and the upcoming AI Command Center will include usage tracking, spending caps and alerts, plus model and agent permission controls.
