Zhejiang University professor-founded Jiazhi Technology files again for Hong Kong IPO

Jiazhi Technology, an industrial mobile robotics company founded by Zhejiang University professor Xiong Rong and members of her lab, has filed again for a main-board listing in Hong Kong under Chapter 18C. The company traces its roots to the university’s early robotics work, where Xiong led students in building Zhejiang University’s first FIRA soccer robot in 2001 and later guided teams that won four small-size robot soccer World Cup titles, including a 1-0 final victory over Germany’s ER-Force in 2019. In March this year, the International Federation of Robotics named Xiong to its list of the 11 Women Shaping the Future of Robotics 2026, where she was the only Chinese honoree. Jiazhi was founded in Hangzhou in July 2016 with registered capital of 5 million yuan. Its prospectus shows revenue of 74.95 million yuan, 110 million yuan, and 260 million yuan in 2023, 2024, and 2025, respectively. Revenue in the first half of 2026 reached 169 million yuan, up 25% year over year, with 891 robots shipped and contracts on hand of about 500 million yuan at period end. Robot solutions generated 147 million yuan, or 87.3% of total revenue, in the first half of 2026.

Fed September hike odds sit at 58% as Bitcoin and gold bulls hold their ground

A wave of anxiety swept through global markets after Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh delivered hawkish remarks at the Jackson Hole central banking symposium and geopolitical tensions picked up. Bitcoin fell 3% and slipped below $77,000, gold also moved lower, while the U.S. dollar index and Treasury yields rose. Even so, CME FedWatch data showed the market was pricing only a 58% chance of a September rate hike at the time of writing, well below levels often seen as a settled outcome. Jim Bianco, founder of Bianco Research, said on X that the next Fed meeting was leaning toward a hike but was far from decided. Warsh pointed to inflation, not labor-market trends, as the bigger concern, noting that the personal consumption expenditures price index was running at 3.7% against the Fed’s 2% target. He also said that more than half of tracked goods and services had posted price increases of 3% or more over the past year. Robin Brooks of the Brookings Institution argued that even if the Fed does raise rates in September, the move may be aimed at calming the Treasury market and anchoring the 10-year yield rather than delivering meaningful tightening. In that reading, demand for scarce assets such as Bitcoin and gold could remain intact.

Warsh’s hawkish Jackson Hole remarks lift September hike bets, but bond investors still doubt the Fed will follow through

Kevin Warsh’s latest remarks at Jackson Hole pushed market pricing toward a possible September rate increase, with swap traders putting the odds of a mid-September hike at about 60%. The move rippled through the Treasury market, where the policy-sensitive 2-year yield posted its biggest jump in more than two months before slipping 2 basis points to 4.32% in Asian trading. Even so, several large fixed-income investors are not changing their positioning. ABN AMRO, Brandywine, and DWS all remain underweight long-dated U.S. Treasurys, arguing that rhetoric still needs to be matched by policy action. Their skepticism reflects Warsh’s recent record: despite repeated inflation-focused messaging, the Fed held rates unchanged in both June and July. Investors are now focused on whether incoming data will force a clearer decision. This week’s monthly U.S. jobs report, followed by inflation data, is seen as central to the Fed’s September meeting. Some managers warn that markets may be “doing the Fed’s job” by pricing in tightening too aggressively if the data fail to reaccelerate. Others say a lack of follow-through could revive concerns about Fed credibility and trigger a replay of July’s sharp curve steepening.

FedWatch puts September rate-hike odds near 60% after Warsh comments, while analysts say panic is overdone

Market expectations for a September Federal Reserve rate hike jumped after Fed Chair Kevin Warsh delivered a hawkish message at the Jackson Hole Symposium, but pricing still stops short of certainty. CME FedWatch shows a 59.9% probability of a hike, even as social media speculation quickly coalesced around a 25-basis-point move. Warsh said inflation data is "more concerning" than labor-market trends, noted that PCE is running at 3.7% versus the Fed’s 2% target, and pointed to the breadth of price increases across government-tracked goods and services over the past year. Several market voices argue that the reaction has been exaggerated. Bianco Research founder Jim Bianco said the next Fed meeting leans toward a hike but is not a done deal. ABN AMRO Investment Solutions and Brandywine Global Investment Management also questioned the severity of the current rate-hike scare. Robin Brooks of the Brookings Institution added a different angle: if the Fed does raise rates in September, the move may be aimed less at traditional tightening and more at calming the Treasury market, anchoring the 10-year yield, and preventing a repeat of the bond selloff seen after July 29. Under that reading, he said, so-called fiat debasement trades could still perform well, leaving room for Bitcoin and gold to keep advancing after their August gains.
