Foxbit, a Brazilian bitcoin exchange, has acquired peer exchange and payment processing firm Bitinvest for less than $1 million. The deal aims to grow Foxbit's customer base and strengthen its business in Brazil. Bitinvest users will be migrated to Foxbit with balances preserved, and further acquisitions are expected.
