NYSE taps Broadridge for on-chain shareholder voting on tokenized stock venue
The New York Stock Exchange said it has partnered with Broadridge Financial Solutions to provide on-chain governance and digital transfer agent services for its planned tokenized stock trading platform. The arrangement covers shareholder record management, investor communications, and proxy voting. Under the setup, investors will be able to take part in shareholder votes through supported wallets, brokerage platforms, or Broadridge’s existing ProxyVote service. NYSE said the goal is to let tokenized equities trade on-chain while preserving shareholder rights associated with traditional markets. The report also noted that Securitize and tZERO had already been included in the exchange’s transfer agent service plans for the tokenized platform. CoinDesk was cited as the source of the report.
