ChainCatcher reported, citing Binance spot market data, that crypto trading saw sharp volatility over the past 24 hours. ATOM rose 12.84% during the period and reached a new high for the week. At the same time, several other tokens moved higher before reversing. BAND fell 7.78%, CELR dropped 31.54%, INJ lost 7.24%, LUNA declined 15.68%, ONE slid 28.06%, SKL fell 18.27%, XTZ dropped 11.6%, and AGLD lost 15.09%. Crumbs launches on Robinhood Chain, then faces criticism as $CRUMBS gives up most of its early gains

Crumbs, a newly launched project on Robinhood Chain, says it turns everyday shopping receipts into tokenized stock rewards. Under the model, users can upload paper receipts or submit PDFs for supported online orders and subscriptions, then receive Robinhood stock tokens tied to qualifying brands. The project says it currently supports 31 brands, with reward rates ranging from 1% to 5%. Examples listed by the team include 2% in $AMZN for Amazon purchases, 3% in $GME for GameStop spending, 3% in $NFLX for Netflix subscriptions, and 5% in $CELH for Celsius purchases. At the same time, Crumbs issued its native token, $CRUMBS. The team says 75% of fees collected from token trading and protocol usage will be used to buy back and burn $CRUMBS. But questions emerged shortly after launch. Multicoin Capital co-founder Kyle Samani said he had been interested when he first saw the project 12 hours earlier, but now viewed it as "basically a scam." Data from the GMGN 15-minute chart showed the token’s market cap briefly approached $8 million before falling back to around $2 million, a drawdown of more than 70% from the high. Publicly available information also does not clearly explain who ultimately funds the stock-token rewards.

XCE uses a proposed recruitment acquisition to tie M&A, earnings and Bitcoin together

Connecting Excellence Group (XCE) has signed binding heads of terms for its first proposed recruitment-sector acquisition, targeting a specialist business operating in the U.K. and U.S. The target generated £1.79 million in revenue, £1.27 million in gross profit and £431,000 in EBITDA over the last 12 months, while also holding 8.216 BTC. The transaction has not closed and still depends on further due diligence, funding and a definitive purchase agreement. Bitcoin Magazine framed the deal as a case study in how an operating company can weave Bitcoin into a broader capital-allocation strategy through mergers and acquisitions. XCE expects to pay £575,000 in initial cash at completion, with about £425,000 used to settle amounts owed to the target by the vendors and returning to the group, leaving an estimated net cash outflow of roughly £150,000 before transaction costs. Another £60,000 is due in 2028, while much of the remaining consideration is deferred and linked to EBITDA performance through fiscal 2029. The article argues that XCE is not just buying revenue. It is trying to acquire earnings power, preserve a large share of that cash generation, and add balance-sheet assets at the same time. If completed, the deal would add a growing, profitable recruitment business and 8.216 BTC to XCE’s balance sheet. The company reported 72.94 BTC as of Sept. 1, up from 9.27 BTC at its December 2025 IPO, and recently added 10 BTC through a share subscription from longtime investor Adam Back.

Former Intersango users trace 5,500 BTC as one claimant recovers 61 BTC more than a decade after shutdown

CEL Solicitors says it has traced more than 5,500 BTC linked to former users of early Bitcoin exchange Intersango, a platform that shut down more than a decade ago. At a Bitcoin price of about $78,000, the identified pool is worth roughly $433.5 million. The law firm also says one UK investor has already recovered 61 BTC in full after instructing CEL on Jan. 20, 2026 and reaching a settlement on May 28, with the coins now valued at about $4.81 million. The case points to how old records from the early Bitcoin era can still carry legal weight. CEL said former users may pursue ownership claims against the traced assets, but each claimant must show a link between their identity and a historical account balance. Emails, account-linked addresses, bank transfer records and support tickets are among the documents that may help establish ownership. Court filings in California show the broader dispute is still playing out. A 2025 appellate ruling in Norman v. Strateman referenced allegations that Patrick Strateman withheld customer Bitcoin after the exchange closed and refused to return it. Separate court records also mention another user balance of 15.46306965 BTC, which the exchange’s support system had confirmed before shutdown.
