South Korea-listed Bitplanet Inc. has accumulated 300 BTC through a structured purchase program, positioning itself among the top 20 corporate Bitcoin holders in Asia. Backed by Sora Ventures, the company began building its BTC treasury in Q4 2025, with recent purchases conducted via Upbit in late February. CEO Paul Lee emphasized that Bitplanet is not simply accumulating Bitcoin for balance sheet exposure; the firm plans to integrate BTC treasury management with AI computing initiatives to generate revenue and cash flow. Meanwhile, Metaplanet, also backed by Sora Ventures, posted a net loss of ¥95 billion ($619 million) for fiscal 2025 due to a ¥102.2 billion ($665.8 million) valuation decline on its Bitcoin holdings. Despite the loss, Metaplanet holds 35,102 BTC valued at approximately $2.4 billion, making it the fourth-largest public corporate BTC holder globally. BTC is currently trading near $65,000, down from mid-week highs of $70,000 amid persistent selling pressure.

Meanwhile, peer Metaplanet reported a net loss of ¥95 billion ($619 million) for fiscal 2025 due to a ¥102.2 billion ($665.8 million) valuation decline on its BTC holdings, highlighting the pressure corporate holders face as Bitcoin prices fell from record highs. Bitcoin is currently trading near $65,000, down from mid-week highs around $70,000.
