Global defense expos put Taiwan aerospace and military supply chain names in focus

A series of defense forums and exhibitions are scheduled to take place before the end of September across the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Latvia, drawing attention to unmanned systems, counter-UAS technology, artificial intelligence and broader defense system integration. According to ABMedia, rising global defense spending and the shift in military technology toward unmanned and AI-driven applications have improved demand visibility across the sector. The report said institutional analysts are watching several Taiwan-listed companies tied to defense, drones and aerospace, including Coretronic, AIDC, EGAT, Perfectight and UMT. In Europe, upcoming events include the UAV Technology Conference in London, NATO’s Counter-UAS Innovation Sandbox in Latvia and Enforce Tac in Germany, where exhibits are set to cover surveillance, command and communications, robotics and military manufacturing. In the U.S., the Defense Tech Innovation Summit & Expo in Maryland will feature autonomous systems, AI, microelectronics, sensors, energy and advanced manufacturing, with direct links to procurement demand from the U.S. Department of Defense and government agencies. ABMedia said the industry focus has expanded beyond individual platforms to communications, electro-optics, navigation, radar, electronic warfare and ground control systems, a shift that is also lifting long-term order visibility for component suppliers and system manufacturers.
