BlackRock leads Bitcoin ETF inflow rebound as Ether, XRP and Solana funds extend winning runs

US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds swung back to net inflows on Monday, taking in $216.7 million after posting $201.8 million in net withdrawals on Friday. The rebound was driven overwhelmingly by BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF, which pulled in $205.9 million and accounted for roughly 95% of the day’s total, according to Farside Investors. Other Bitcoin products with positive flows included Fidelity’s FBTC, Bitwise’s BITB, Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, while VanEck’s HODL was the only fund to post outflows. Capital continued to move into other US-listed crypto funds as well. Spot Ether ETFs recorded $87.7 million in inflows, extending their streak to 11 straight trading sessions. XRP funds posted a 10th consecutive positive day with $5.64 million in net inflows, and Solana funds also reached a 10-session run, though Monday’s intake slowed sharply to $925,010 from $18.1 million on Friday. At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading near $78,700, up about 1.5% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

Taiwan think tank says 2026 GDP growth could top 10% on AI export strength

Taiwan’s economy may grow by more than 10% in 2026, according to Taiwan Institute of Economic Research President Gordon Chang Chien-yi, who said the institute’s latest forecast will be revised upward to above the 10% mark. That would place TIER alongside Academia Sinica, which projected 10.16% on July 13, and the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, which had already raised its estimate to 9.64%. Chang said the key driver is straightforward: exports have come in far stronger than the assumptions built into earlier models. He tied the momentum to stronger-than-expected demand for AI, high-performance computing and cloud infrastructure, which has lifted semiconductor and information and communications technology exports as well as private investment. Chang also said AI-related business opportunities should last at least through 2028, though he cautioned that next year will be a tougher test because the comparison base will already be high. He added that if Taiwan can still post growth above 8% next year, that would show AI demand is holding up beyond a short-lived surge. Chang also commented on global trade realignment, saying the world may increasingly split into U.S.-centered, China-centered and non-U.S./non-China blocs led by the European Union.

Circle wins OCC approval as Clarity Act draft may surface next week

TechFlow’s July 13 roundup tracked a busy stretch across crypto regulation, capital markets, and infrastructure. Circle said it received final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish Circle National Trust, a national trust bank that will initially provide digital asset custody for Circle and its affiliates. The move would bring USDC custody infrastructure deeper into the U.S. federal regulatory framework and could later support reserve management. On Capitol Hill, CoinDesk reported that the latest merged draft of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, or Clarity Act, could be released as early as next week, with the Senate expected to take it up during the week of July 20. The bill has gained more than 70 pages and stronger consumer protections, but disagreements remain over ethics restrictions for senior government officials, federal preemption, and pending SEC and CFTC commissioner nominations. Elsewhere, Bloomberg reported that SK Hynix raised $26.5 billion through an American depositary receipt offering, setting a record for a foreign company’s U.S. IPO. Other developments in the roundup included OpenAI’s public rollout of GPT-5.6 models, strong first-week activity on Robinhood Chain, Polymarket’s application for a U.S. futures license, Bitmine’s latest ETH purchase, and a reported equity deal for Manus at a $2 billion valuation.

OSL Executive: Global Compliance Network Enables Stablecoin Cross-Border Payments in ASEAN Emerging Markets, Solving Dollar Liquidity

At GBA-Asean Summit 2026, OSL BizPay SVP Albert Wong highlighted that as major economies clarify regulatory frameworks, stablecoins are penetrating traditional cross-border trade from Web3. With massive settlement demand between Hong Kong and ASEAN, OSL leverages multi-jurisdictional licenses and local teams to solve stablecoin-fiat on/off ramps. Stablecoin payments can reshape capital flows for multinationals and empower ASEAN firms lacking USD liquidity with instant cross-border fund movement. OSL plans to build compliant payment infrastructure connecting different markets, realizing the vision of 'money flowing as freely as information.'
