CardBox expands CGC grading partnership, topping 10,000 cards a month

CardBox, an RWA infrastructure platform focused on trading card collectibles, said it has entered a deeper proxy grading partnership with international grading brand CGC. The business currently centers on Japan and South Korea, where the platform is submitting more than 10,000 cards for grading each month. CardBox said it works to verify, custody and digitally map physical collectible assets including raw cards, graded cards, sealed packs and card boxes, with the goal of improving global circulation efficiency for those assets. The company also said it plans to connect its proxy grading service more closely with the CardBox Vault process, allowing users to place newly graded cards directly into vault custody. For eligible custodied assets, the platform plans to generate RWA digital certificates for later management and circulation. CardBox Beta is already live on BNB Chain, and the platform said it has more than 20,000 registered users and over $1 million in cumulative transaction volume.
