Lisk Chain to shut down on Oct. 31 as Lisk offers optional migration path to Celo
Lisk said it is changing course and will focus on building a modern treasury operations platform for finance teams. As part of that shift, the Ethereum layer-2 network’s Lisk Chain will officially shut down on Oct. 31, though the network will continue operating normally until that date. Lisk also said projects currently deployed on the chain can choose to migrate to Celo through an available transition path. The company stressed that the move is optional rather than mandatory, leaving each team to decide based on its own product needs, user base, and technical considerations. The update was disclosed in a post published by Lisk on X.
