LO:TECH raises $12 million in Series A led by MMC

London-based high-frequency trading and market-making firm LO:TECH has closed a $12 million Series A round led by MMC, with participation from Faction, 13 Books Capital, and new investor Atka. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand in New York and Singapore and to build out trade execution services across traditional finance, digital assets, and prediction markets. Since completing a $5 million seed round in August 2025, LO:TECH said its revenue has tripled and its team has doubled in size. The firm now serves more than 50 clients, including public companies. LO:TECH also said it has posted triple-digit revenue growth in each of the past two years. Looking ahead, the company plans to extend beyond digital asset markets into traditional exchanges covering equities, foreign exchange, and commodities. Founded by Tim Meggs, Marcus Horsley, and Alex Williams, LO:TECH focuses on high-frequency trading and liquidity provision, executes tens of thousands of trades per second, and operates across proprietary trading, market data distribution, and trading technology services. The firm has also obtained a Kalshi data distributor license.
